When you visit LooseCanon you will notice at the entrance “Oysters” spelled out in tile. Prior to the gallery this site was Excellence Beauty Salon and before that a fish market as seen in the 2 pictures below.
In October 2009, the James North ArtCrawl took on a different look in the form of SuperCrawl. While cosmic forces tried to drench the day, there were about 2000 people that came out and doubled our usual monthly attendance.
